Thimphu to Punakha/Wangdue Sightseeing
Drive to Punakha/Wangdue, stop at Dochu-La-Pass for Himalayan views. Visit Punakha Dzong. Optional excursion to Gangtey or explore Punakha Valley. Overnight at Punakha/Wangdue.
Day 4
Gangtey Excursion or Punakha Sightseeing
Explore Gangtey Valley or spend the day in Punakha. Visit Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten, Punakha Suspension Bridge, and Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery. Overnight at Punakha/Wangdue.
Day 5
Punakha/Wangdue to Paro Sightseeing
Drive to Paro, stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park. Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong. Overnight in Paro.
Day 6
Paro Sightseeing
Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), visit Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery. Overnight in Paro.
Day 7
Departure from Paro
Check out from the hotel and drop at Paro Airport for onward journey.
