    The best time to visit Interlaken is during the summer, from June to September.It is the perfect time for aimless walks, trekking, mountaineering and adventure activities.

Interlaken is a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, it has old timber houses and parkland on either side of the Aare River. Its surrounding mountains, with dense forests, alpine meadows and glaciers, has numerous hiking and skiing trails.

Day 1

On arrival at Zurich / Geneva airport, transfer by train to one of the picturesque cities of Switzerland-Interlaken. Check-in at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure OR Enjoy cruising with spectacular views, turquoise water, mountain peaks and typical Swiss chalet villages – all this and more on an exciting evening cruise along the shores of Lake Brienz. Overnight at hotel.

Mt. Jungfraujoch

Day 2

Breakfast. Today proceed to visit Jungfraujoch at 11333 ft. The summit station, inevitably, is a tourist circus of glaciers walks, short ski run, dismal restaurants, a post office and Ice sculptures at the Ice Palace. Panoramic views from the open-air 3571m Sphinx Terrace to Germany’s Black Forest in one direction and across a gleaming wasteland to the Italian Alps on the other are heart thumping. To get there, begin your train journey from the Interlaken Ost station that takes you via Kleine Scheidegg and through the Eiger North Wall up to the scenic splendours of the Jungfraujoch ice.

Interlaken – Mt.Titlis – Interlaken

Day 3

Breakfast at hotel. Today head for Mt.Titlis. At 10,000 ft this glacier paradise is the highest viewpoint in Central Switzerland all year round. Ascend in the world’s first revolving gondola “Rotair”. It’s a 40 minute journey through many changes of scenery from the green valley bottom up into the high alpine glacier region. Three different aerial cable cars take you to the peak of Mt.Titlis. At Engelberg board 6 person gondolas and journey up to the Trubsee half-way station (1’800 m). Then continue to the Stand glacier station by cable car. During the journey with the Rotair, the floor of the cable car rotates once around its own axis. At this altitude, you can see as far as the Black Forest in Germany. The view of the world at you feet is awe-inspiring. Once there, you can experience the Ice Flyer chairlift that takes you to the Glacier Park. The view of the glacier crevasses is simply spectacular from the chairlift. The Glacier Park has fun-packed rides on snow snakes, snow tubes, scooters, and sledges. After an exciting day, return to your hotel.
